[Photo Speak]: The Terrible ‘New Face’ Lagos Will Wear If LASTMA Leaves The Roads

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) have created two sides to a debate on their usefulness. While some argue that they are more of a problem than a solution with their law enforcement methods, others argue that the road users are the actual problem, not them.

However, many Lagosians are complaining bitterly of incessant traffic and they are tying it to the lack-lustre performance of LASTMA officials in recent times.

Should LASTMA leave the roads, these pictures explain the new hideous face Lagos will wear:

1. Danfo drivers become the vicious kings of the road.

2. Okada riders and their horrific menace will return to the express.

3.  BRT lanes lose their ‘prestige’ and become everybody’s property.

4. Pedestrians will go on suicide missions crossing the express and neglecting foot bridges.

5 The police will take over and that doesn’t sound like a good idea.

6. Road users will go back to totally ignoring traffic lights.
